We offer this weekend in spring to dive into the different aspects of sound, breath and silence.
Sometimes we just need to stop and listen. Listen to the bodies need, to our feelings and to what is happening around us.
This is an invitation to slow down, to breathe and feel, to leave the daily habits for a moment, as we tend to be fast, to run, to pretend, to put on masks and sometimes we even forget how we feel cause of so many duties.
To stop and breathe creates space, space for yourself, for your inner essence to come out, to be, to play, to express and to feel more alive.
We merge the elements of breath and sound. The breath as our life energy tool in everything we do, we put emphasis on becoming more aware of each inhale and exhale throughout this whole weekend.
The morning hatha yoga classes are focused on each breath, combined with asanas. (it is a hatha yoga/ kundalini blend)
We will have the blessing of live music throughout the whole class, which helps us to go deeper into a pose or remain longer within the pose.
During the carefully prepared breakfast, we will discover the aspect of silence, a beautiful tool to practice to listen to your body.
After that on the first day, we silently move into the nature, being together walking in silence and listening to the sounds of nature. From the silence the sounds appear, the rhythm can be perceived, like the rhythm of our heartbeat or our feet walking on the earth, the breath going in and out. You will move into the sound, discovering natural rhythms and your voice. An organic improvisation with the group, the sounds and nature, based on listening.
Our place Galleli has an amazing surrounding and a beautiful garden with two yurts, 1 is a sauna, that will be heated for you in the break before and after lunch. A sauna is a great way of detoxing and helping the body to relax. For cooling down there is a little river just passing through the land. If you don’t feel like sauna-ing, then you have plenty of time, to relax, catch up with a book or enjoy the nature.
For bringing more aliveness and diving deeper into the power of the breath, we will hold a breathwork & sound medicine ceremony. To use your own breath in this powerful way, is a great method to release and transform old pattern and beliefs.
The aspects of sound we will discover in many different ways, thru simple listening, to receiving sounds like in the yoga class, to breathe with sound and eventually to express ourselves thru sound- in voice work and singing. There will be plenty of options to play, to bring in your instruments and to jam together as music/sound is one of our favorite gifts we want to share with you.
Movement is a big part of this weekend too, in dancing, like the chakra dance, the yoga and the nature walk.
We, Mela & Miguel are combining our favorite work, we offer this retreat to share the best of our gifts, to bring more joy and aliveness through the togetherness with you all. We look forward to meet you and share this wonderful space with you.
Escholzmatt in the «Wild West of Lucerne» is a part of Switzerland’s first UNESCO biosphere reserve. The Entlebuch biosphere encompasses precious moorland with rare fauna and flora considered of international importance. Beautiful water meadows lie alongside the Kleinen Emme. The Escholzmatt municipal district extends to the Schrattenfluh, one of the most impressive karst landscapes in the pre-Alpine region.
The house (Galleli) is a tipical swiss house, beautifully renovated. It has 2 yurts, one for guests or workshops and 1 yurt sauna.
For sleeping there are 2 dorms with each 8 beds. The third room is our beautiful yurt that can host 4 people. We can host max 20 people.
How to get here:
From Lucerne, it is a 40min train ride to Escholzmatt. From the local trainstain a 8min walk to the house.

Our workshops offer high-quality material and are facilitated by international teachers. Our teachers bring variety and a background of many years of working with people. This retreat is suitable for beginners in yoga and also helps to develop advanced practitioners.
We will create a sense of being at home and being held in a sacred space to allow transformation to happen.

About this retreat:
We want you to feel safe and at home, to be able to try something new and explore the depth of the healing energy through breath, sound and movement.
We have created a beautiful program that allows you to explore different energies such as; gaining knowledge and understanding about the importance of our inner Chakra system. When we understand our energy levels and the functions of the different chakras, our mind can relax and we can drop deeper into the state of being.
Breath is our life energy, our prana, it nourishes our cells everyday, it keeps us alive. In this retreat you will explore different ways of how to use breathwork to become more present in the body and therefore in life. In the mornings we will integrate breathing techniques into the Meditation and Yoga practises, which are suitable for beginners and advanced practicioners.
Breathwork enables us to go deeper into our inner being. In Breathwork Ceremonies we can learn how to free ourselves from old beliefs, overcome birth traumas, learn more about our own personal law and become more conscious and alive with our breath. We integrate the power of affirmations, the 5 emotions and various practical exercises to deepen the connection to ourselves and others.
You will leave with simple tools which allow you to connect with your true self, bringing you into a deeper state of happiness.
The power of vibration and the power of sound are integral vitality tools that we will share with you. We are vibration and we are sound. How do you feel when you listen to the ocean, to the birds, to the wind or when you hear a baby cry? Do you remember that special song, that made your heart smile? Together we will explore the science of sound and in turn discover much more about ourselves.
On this retreat you will have the chance to sing, to explore sound, to find the magic of the healing powers of music. You don’t have to be a singer or need any experience. Simply come with open ears and an open heart willing to play and explore the power of sound!
We also want to celebrate with you. We all naturally contribute to this beautiful coming together in nature, something which is definitely worth celebrating! There will be time to relax by the pool, nourish our bodies with amazing food and dance into ecstasy with heart touching music. On fullmoon we’ll gather for a beautiful cacao ceremony.
We do not serve any alcohol and also ask you to be free of alcohol and drugs for your stay with us.

We focus on the breath, on the breath and on the breath. In yoga, pranayama, breathwork and singing. We breathe every day and most of the time we are not aware of it. In just 5 days you will discover many benefits of the breath, and I promise you, you will feel a difference. As we are in a stunning place in the middle of the nature, this helps us to go deep and connect with our true being.
Kundalini Yoga is a form of traditional Hatha Yoga. It is a Yoga practice with the use of the breath, some-times we hold the breath in different postures and that creates a lot of energy. We use Bhandas (locks) that bring a lot of benefits, and help us to move stagnant energy in the body. Kundalini yoga is mainly used to awaken an energy inside of us, the clear energy channels and brings us out of the mind into a state of meditation. It is not a stretchy dynamic class or very physical, even though the physical body will also benefit of the practices.
May is the best time of the year to travel to this area, it is spring time, it is a sunny area. The days are warm (25 degrees) and we have a beautiful garden to hang out and have a dip in the pool. The night may still be a bit chilly.

We usually only provide shared accommodation, but if you want to have your own space, for an extra charge this may be possible depending on availability.
We offer a beautiful hike to Mt. Mulhacen, the highest mountain on the main land, on the free day. Also, the city of Granada and the Alhambra Palace is highly recommend to visit.

The place is secluded and privately situated on the mountains. There are no shops close by.
